"Your instrument is your paintbrush"

That's what Ruben, the harp player believes.  He demonstrates it with every note of his harmonica.  Ruben is an expressive entertainer that has captivated audiences of all ages.  His fine tuned talent can be attributed to a fierce determination to win hearts everywhere with his music.

    Born in the state of Colorado, Ruben was raised in Phoenix, Arizona.    

Ruben has collaborated, recorded and performed with various bands and musicians throughout the years.

One of his collaborations is a Instrumental Gospel C.D. entitled - Inspirational Music by REASONS, which was originally created as a fund raiser to benefit friends and family members in need.  His harmonica performance is also featured on Grammy Award, singer and songwriter -The Late Gaynel Hodge (Earth Angel)-Gospel C.D. "Sing a Song to God".

   Experiencing the sharp contrast of cultures and enjoying musical influences, such as the music of *War, *Lee Oskar,* Stevie Wonder, * Earth, Wind and Fire, *BB King, *Santana, *The Isley Brothers, Pete Escovedo, just to name a few.   Their artistic styles are reflected in Ruben's instrumental recordings, with performances that shine, through encompassing peaceful, jazzy ballads, as well as a rare mixture of smooth R&B, laced with Latin rhythmic undertones, highlighting Ruben's sweet flowing harmonica skills.  His performances play tribute to a diverse musical spectrum that has subtly influenced Ruben.
